After a seizure, carry-over or repeated tripping — what actually failed, why it failed, and what has to change so it does not happen again.

01 · Scope of work

What we deliver.

Every engagement ends in a clear, documented deliverable — measured and actionable, not just observations.

01

On-site strip-down

The failed assembly opened and examined where it failed.

02

Verification against limits

Dimensions and condition measured, not estimated.

03

Failure mode evidenced

Identified and recorded photographically.

04

Contributing factors

Operating, maintenance or installation — separated, not blended.

05

Corrective actions

Prioritised, so the first fix is the one that matters.

06

Written report

Within five working days.

02 · Approach

How the work is done.

Recognised methods, applied machine by machine and premises by premises — and a written output you keep.

A

Methods

  • RCA · Root Cause Analysis
  • FMEA · Failure Mode & Effects Analysis
  • 5-Why
  • Fishbone (Ishikawa)
  • Dimensional verification
  • Photographic evidence
B

What you receive

A written account of what failed and why, evidenced with measured values and photographs, and a prioritised list of what has to change.

The report is yours either way.
03 · Codes of practice

Checked against Indian Standards.

Testing, inspection and condition assessment carried out as per the relevant IS codes of practice.

IS/ISO 20816-3 : 2022Machine vibration — industrial machinery above 15 kW, 120 to 30 000 r/min
IS 3703 : 2023Magnetic particle flaw detection
IS 3658 : 1999Liquid penetrant flaw detection

Indian Standards are cited as the codes of practice the work is checked against. Which of them apply depends on your equipment and its duty.

04 · Fit

Who it serves.

Independent, fixed-scope and quoted in writing — for units that want condition measured, not guessed.

A

Who it's for

Plants where a machine has stopped unexpectedly, or keeps stopping, and that need an independent account of why — with no spares to sell behind the conclusion.

B

The OMNIX difference

We do not sell spares and we do not represent a machine builder — there is no margin behind the recommendation. The engineer who assesses your machine is the one who signs the report.

05 · Process

Four steps. No lock-in.

From a free walkthrough to a written report you own — with no retainer and no minimum term.

STEP 01

Site call

A thirty-minute walkthrough at your plant, at no charge. If we cannot add anything, we say so.

STEP 02

Fixed-scope job

One survey or assessment at a price agreed in writing. No retainer, no lock-in, no minimum term.

STEP 03

Written report

Within five working days. Measured values, what the condition is costing you, prioritised actions.

STEP 04

You decide

Act in-house, hand it to your OEM, or bring us back. The report is yours either way.
